Food Manufacturing Talent Pool – Machine Operators & Forklift Drivers

Casual Opportunities | Melbourne’s South East | Manufacturing & FMCG

ASAP Labour Hire is currently building a talent pool of experienced Machine Operators and Forklift Drivers for upcoming opportunities within the food manufacturing and FMCG sector across Melbourne’s South East.

We’re looking to connect with reliable, safety-focused candidates who have experience working in fast-paced production, manufacturing, warehouse or food processing environments.

About the Opportunities

Our upcoming opportunities may include:

Operating production and processing machinery
Setting up and monitoring production equipment
Feeding raw materials into production lines
Packing and labelling finished products
Quality checking products throughout the production process
Operating LF and/or LO forklifts
Loading and unloading goods
Moving raw materials, pallets and finished products
Picking and preparing orders
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Working as part of a high-performing production or warehouse team

About You

We’re interested in hearing from candidates with:

Previous experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, production or warehousing
Machine operation or production line experience
Current LF and/or LO forklift licence for forklift positions
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
Good attention to detail
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team
Full Australian Working Rights
Reliable transport
Flexibility to work across different shifts

Highly regarded:

Previous food manufacturing experience
HACCP or food safety experience
Experience with automated production equipment
RF scanning experience
Pick/pack experience
Previous FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience
